Welcome to the Hôtel-Restaurant le Relays du Chasteau, located in the heart of the village of Brousse-le-Château, in the south of France, in the beautiful Aveyron department. For five generations, this charming little hotel has been run by the same family, driven by a shared passion for the region and for offering you a relaxing stay in a village listed as one of the Most Beautiful in France.

The hotel was recently renovated in 2025 for your comfort.

Bedrooms

The history of this family establishment

It all started in 1900, with the railway line that was to connect Albi to Nîmes, along the Tarn. The influx of workers in the region allows the creation of inns in Brousse-le-Château, including that of Marie and Louis Molinier. In 1930, their daughter, Émilienne got married and returned from Alsace to open the current inn. She cooked the trout that the fishermen brought back to her and prepared excellent stews. In 1962, Édouard, his son, and his wife completely renovated the Inn to create the Relays du Chasteau. In 1982, their daughter, Sybile, and her husband, Philippe, in the kitchen, took up the torch. In 2020, it is Sarah, their daughter, and her companion Bang, who will continue to write history.

The family, warm and friendly atmosphere is always there. Come and participate in the great human and family adventure of the Relays du Chasteau, with the fifth generation!

Spaces to meet

In our hotel, with its warm decoration and practical equipment, you will appreciate moments of conviviality and simplicity in our room with library, board games and tourist documentation.

From the first days of spring, it is on the terrace overlooking the river that you will meet to discuss, appreciate the freshness of the region and the view of nature.

To meet your hosts, we invite you to the reception open every day from 8am to 10pm. We will share our good addresses with you, in French and in English.

Quiet rooms

Our charming establishment in Brousse-le-Château offers 11 cozy rooms, fully renovated in 2025. They can accommodate one to four people. Our rooms guarantee peaceful nights in the heart of the Grands Causses Natural Park.

All rooms feature quality bedding, a lovely view, and a private bathroom. Check-in is from 2 p.m. and check-out is before 12 p.m. A travel cot is available free of charge upon request.

For family breaks, as a couple, alone, or with friends, opt for the comfort of our fully equipped rooms.

A fresh and local breakfast

Every morning, fill up on energy with the gourmet and generous continental breakfast. Many fresh and local dishes will garnish our buffet, served between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. (€10.50 per day and per person). You won't be able to resist sheep yoghurts from the Salze farm, pastries baked the same morning, seasonal fruits, homemade jams, Aveyronnaise spread, but also charcuterie and regional cheeses. Take a seat in the breakfast room and wake up gently.
